This is my little dream world, there is Elsa’s ice castle, my rainbow castle, rapunzel’ castle, shops. I ride on the unicorn walking to my tent. books,map,and my friend monster family are on the grass, we will roast the marshmallow, I draw my dad’s face on the grass by pen.my room is on the cloud, there are bed,cups, rainbow tree and my dolphin.

My picture is showing kids from all different cultures standing together in the beautiful nature. They are all different from each other and they are all friends, they have balloons spelling Unity to show kindness and working together is better than alone.

Artistic Statement:
The Power of Unity to me means everyone is connected, helping each other and standing strong together. I have created a character who represents youth and the Earth behind him represents all people together as one, united. I have used coloured pencils as my medium and then paint for the black background to create the effect of space.

The hands with the different flags meaning different cultures around the world came together to help build the Marae here in New Zealand because it represents home, it represents a community. Everyone here from around the world honouring the people of the land and respecting culture

“‘Growing Together As One’
The two flowers on the side represent the darker and lighter races of people in the world, the hydrangea at the top represents the rainbow community, and the snake which is the symbol of health represents our disabled community. They are all growing together in the same pot, being unified and diverse as one people all sharing this planet (one flower has earth in centre).
